This is a customer service position. Must have good communication skills and previous customer service experience is a plus. Help maintain Business Lab computers and printers. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, Troubleshoot user account problems, etc. Work one on one with customers on the telephone and in person. Some situations will require more hours.
The well-qualified candidate will learn to make contacts, draft print marketing materials, assist photo, video production. Specialists will also assist with advertising campaigns that may include web, print, email, mail, tv, and radio. Reception; general office duties
Officials in each sport go through a paid training program. Training occurs over a two-week period before play begins and includes classroom sessions along with on-site clinics. In the classroom, sports rules and officiating techniques are discussed and reviewed. The clinics consist of veteran officials demonstrating proper court/field coverage and scrimmage games. In addition, the Intramural Official position is the first step towards becoming an Intramural Supervisor.

The Islander Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team (I-ADAPT) have openings for two Co-Chairs for a new Peer Education Program beginning November 2013. The Peer Ed Co-Chairs will work closely with I-ADAPT to create and implement a peer education program designed to promote healthy choices at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Prepare the meeting rooms by setting up tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, staging etc. OCPs also sweep, pick up litter, vacuum, clean tables in the Commons dining areas, straighten up the lounges and make rounds throughout the entire building. OCPs work with the Student Manager to prepare meeting rooms scheduled for events. OCPs also staff the Information Desk. They answer questions about campus directions, activities, university services/offices and general university knowledge such as registration dates, phone numbers, etc.

Editor-in-Chief Term of Office
The editor's employment begins one week prior to the semester of their appointment and extends to the last publication date of the following semester. If funds are available, the editor will also be paid for working during the summer before his/her term as editor begins. The editor is hired in the spring for the following year. Appointments are for two semesters unless a vacancy occurs and the editor must be replaced. The new editor will fulfill the existing term that the previous editor began.
