Prepare the meeting rooms by setting up tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, staging etc. OCPs also sweep, pick up litter, vacuum, clean tables in the Commons dining areas, straighten up the lounges and make rounds throughout the entire building. OCPs work with the Student Manager to prepare meeting rooms scheduled for events.  OCPs also staff the Information Desk.  They answer questions about campus directions, activities, university services/offices and general university knowledge such as registration dates, phone numbers, etc.

Welcome and direct visitors, answer phones, ring up admissions and purchases at register, assist with gift shop stocking and cleaning, assist with mailouts, filing, general office duties as assigned. Will try to be flexible with students schedule. 

7468WS $8.50

This is a customer service position.  Must have good communication skills and previous customer service experience is a plus.  Help maintain Business Lab computers and printers.   Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, Troubleshoot user account problems, etc.  Work one on one with customers on the telephone and in person.  Some situations will require more hours.

Must be available Spring, Summer and Fall.  Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service. Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility. Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports.

Student worker will assist by communicating with employees by e-mailing, filing, faxing and contacting by phone when necessary. The student will collect and input employee data; will handle employment and federal forms requiring extreme attention to detail; handle sensitive and highly confidential information. Maintain and updated folders in the system to reflect any new, open, pending cases. This involves scanning, emailing and keeping an up to date spreadsheet, will audit forms and documents. This involves reviewing forms for errors, correcting or contacting employees and various departments for corrections.  Keeping track of expired documents and working with retention schedules. Receive and provide general information for telephone, mail and walk-in requests. Make copies, assemble and index materials. Preparing correspondence, forms, labels, special documents, image (scan) and file documents. Other related duties as assigned.
